Lodi Association of Wineries (L.A.W.) was created in response to a request to be more efficient and effective in dealing with San Joaquin County Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors. The county was in the process of changing the winery ordinances and some of the changes were cause for concern for small and larger wineries in the Lodi appellation. By organizing and bring the collective concerns of members with “one voice” the commission and supervisors, we were successful in having our concerns addressed satisfactorily.
We stay involved with awareness of possible new concerns, issues and improvements related to our local industry in order to best serve our efforts.
As a member you would be able to have your voice heard, hear and learn from other wineries in the region and should you need support with your individual issues regarding regulations or the like, L.A.W. can help.
One voice of the many is much stronger the voice of the individual!
